Taipei GOLF DRIVING RANGE
 

i have just taken up basic golf. will be in Taipei end Feb. was thinking of going to a driving range there. i intend to get the hotel to arrange everything for me. however, just before i do that, i hope to get help from FTers who could advise on:-

a driving range or club allowing non-members to practice swings at the range. i am not bringing clubs, shoes and balls with me. so i hope to rent all these at the range/club. also, it would be even better if the club allow non-member or golfers with no PC Certificate to play on the course (i did this in Thailand with the caddy guiding me).

i will be staying at the Sherwood Taipei so all advice greatly welcomed. tks!

my cousin took me to one in Shih Lin last year - it's your standard driving range - plus it tees up balls for you automatically! :D

I see another one beside the #1 freeway coming into Taipei, so that's at least two in Taipei.

Your hotel concierge should be able to point you to one nearby. have fun!

any chance u can still remember the name of the club/range at Shih Lin?

also, they rent everything? ie golf clubs and shoes.
