Hotel on Ishigaki
 

Can anyone recommend a good hotel or resort on Ishigaki Island, Okinawa (NOT the Club Med please)?

Sorry, I have not been there, but my friend highly recommends this hotel. The hotel is very quiet and the hotel staffs are very nice (he said). From Ishigaki airport, it takes 30 mins by cab and the hotel is located bits far from downtown. The problem is that dinner at the hotel restaurants are expensive.

Ishigaki, what a great little island. I stayed at a business hotel, the name of which escapes me and the rooms were so tiny, there was just room enough for the twin bed. But what beautiful water and shells littered the beaches. There's a nice Izakaya downtown. Darn, I wish I remembered the name, but if you go downtown, you'll find it. It's all dark wood on the inside.
