hotel search engines
 
i'm trying to look for cheap hotels for end of Dec. i've been looking on the internet and came across to sites that does online booking too.
the rates seem good. has anyone used these before ?

I would recommend www.asiahotels.com
Many FTer's have used them & their rates seem to slightly beat the rest.

thanks for the site ! but the selection of tokyo hotels seem to be quite limited.

is staying in shinjuku better or in shinagawa ?

I have used www.asiahotels.com several times and never had a problem. They usually have fairly competitive rates.

I will third the vote for asiahotels.com. I can't really comment on Japan since I don't go there very often, but I would suggest that you stay at a few Hyatts between now and your trip and take advantage of faster free nights; for every two stays, you get one night at the Hyatt of your choice. Even Priceline stays count (on a case by case basis).
