Best SIM card for Japan and Thailand Use?

Hi for a Verizon United States phone (not an iphone), what is good SIM card to get that works for both Japan and Thailand. Thanks as I am looking for data usage in both countries.

Why don't you buy one in BKK? It's very cheap. I always use a Thai sim card when in Thailand. All the Viber and WhatsApp and Telegram works.

You will buy a different SIM card for each country.

DTAC SIM will allow you to buy a Japan option from their Thai card. I used it in Japan last month. Worked fine for data.

The Thai mobile phone companies, DTAC, AIS and True, all have desks just outside the customs hall. Many offer tourist SIMs. I'm a dedicated DTAC customer, having lived with True and AIS over several years each and found them wanting. To give you an idea, my monthly charge for 5 gb at unlimited speed is 299 baht a month, which is $10US. Never went over the usage ceiling. But I don't watch movies or whatever on the phone.
