Private driver, tour guide in Hanoi
 

We are looking for a guide and driver for 4 people for about 4-5 days. We will have an itinerary of where we want to go. Need to get a cost estimate. Tks

Have you been to Vietnam before? I wouldn't pay over $100 per day (all-inclusive), but I also just made that number up.

You might contact Mr. Diep at Vietnamtour - he has a Ford Transit van and a very good driver (Mr. Hung). Mr. Diep can be contacted at [email protected] - I've known this man since 2007, and he's very responsible and reliable.

The cost really depends on the itinerary, i.e. within Ha Noi or also to the countryside.
Another data point. Las month I paid US$150 for a 7-seat van with a driver only (no guide) for a daytrip from Ha Noi to several locations near the cities of Ha Long and Hai Phong.. The arrangement was made through a local travel agency.
