Tieza Travel Tax avoidance.
Can a Philippine passport holder, transiting within MNL T3, with boarding pass (digital), legally avoid the immigration line into Philippines and Tieza tax if passenger goes thru the international transfer area (holding area) to get to his next flight out of the country?
the mostly 5J staff there could not give a definite answer since my next flight was on another airline but i think it should be possible. anybody done this before? Tieza is an unecessary burden and surely a waste, best if avoided. On a recent flight on Z2 to Vietnam, i got airside without ever interacting with an agent. I even still have the Tieza receipt, both pink and white copies, and already out of the country. |
