Driver in Yogyakarta?
 

Does anyone have any recommendations and contact information for a driver in Yogyakarta to do a one day tour of Prambanan and Borobudur. So far, I've tried contacting a few listings on google but no one is replying to my emails; should I call instead. I am arriving in the evening and want to go on the Borobudur sunrise tour; would it be too late if I just didn't book until arrival?

I used this outfit below to rent a car with driver to get from YOG to Borobodur via Prambanan. Made our own way back to YOG as we stayed overnight at the Manohara, which I would strongly advise you to stay at if you want to do a sunrise tour.

We stayed at Amanjiwo a couple weeks ago and the guide they used for Borobudor was Udin (+628233991027 for cell and whatsapp and email is [email protected]). He said he could arrange tours if we needed.

I used Jogja rent a car as suggested by YVR Cochroach above. The driver and service was fine, 600,000 IDR for 12 hours. The communication was not the best though. The driver was at my hotel on time, however, he did not know of the itinerary I had sent to the company and I also had to call the company to reconfirm the pickup. Also, they said the driver would come at 03:30 but the driver actually came at 03:15 and had the hotel call my room immediately. They were also not very helpful in terms of helping me plan; like I asked 3 times how long it took to get from my hotel to Borobudur in the morning and they did not answer the question.
