Bali Car Rental Rules and Advice
Hi all,
I'm going to Bali and will arrive in the early hours of Friday morning and am looking to hire a car for me and my girlfriend (I'll be driving I suspect ).
Just wondering if there could be any issues with my details:
- UK citizen and full UK Drivers licence.
- Age: 22
- Driving for 5 years as of the May just gone.
If this is okay, does anyone have any advice as to where and what to hire?
Thanks,
Joe

Can't recommend any car hire companies unfortunately, but having been to Bali several times, suggest you have a very good insurance policy! The roads can be extremely busy, especially round Denpesar and the south coast, and are also of varying quality. It is quite cheap to hire a car and driver by the day (US$30-40), could this be an alternative option? Good luck!

That could be an alternative for sure.
I'm in China currently and if the driving is anything similar/worse than their driving I'd probably prefer to get someone else to do it for me!
Thanks for your reply
