Sr Lanka Transit Visa (ETA) question
 

We are transiting in Sri Lanka for less than 12 hours before catching our plane out of there in the early morning hours. According to their visa ETA website it says we need to get an ETA but if staying in the country for less than 48 hours that it is free. Yet when I submit our info on the ETA visa website it is asking for $30 each. I am a little confused and it is our first time there. Do we need to pay this amount?

Also does anyone know how long does it take to process the ETA?

Somewhere on the ETA site is a note that it is still possible to process visas on arrival, albeit at a higher cost.

Also when did the fee go from $20 to $30?

My ETAs have seemed to process in about 2 hours.

Weird, under the fee schedule it shows as free for transit and stays less than two days:

Yet it wants to charge me $30 each. May have to pay it and deal with it when I am home.

Problem with Sri Lanka ETA
 

I read all the info regarding Sri Lankan ETA requirements, applied for the ETA, paid the fee, etc, and got a "receipt" which said that I would get a confirmation within 24 hours. It has been over a week and I have not received so much as a thank you, not email, no ETA, nothing. I have sent two emails of inquiry with no reply. Should I be worried? Has anyone else had a delay like this?
