Being in Biz or First makes the flight no boring at all!! 16 hours to enjoy all the on-demand movies, read, in a comfortable seat/bed. The overhead screens in Economy suck on the 747 used for the ORD-HKG route but the entertainment in biz and F is great.

Also, no need to buy a full Business or First class fare to sit in those cabins. Plenty of ways to upgrade using miles, copay, cash, systemwide; or even buy a ticket with miles only.

Well, since I've never tried it, I don't even know what I'm missing.

Personally, I don't mind economy. Yes, it is boring, but I would rather save money so that I have more to spend at my destination. I'm not exactly raking in the dough :o
