When do they play the superclasico between Boca and River each year?

The date changes each tournament.... the details of the fixture are still up in the air at this time.

The Boca vs. River match in Apertura 2009 was scheduled for the weekend of October 18 / 09 at El Monumental.

The exact day and time of the matches is usually not published until 10 days to 2 weeks prior. But I believe the Superclasico is usually held on Sunday afternoon. Others with more experience may correct me on that.

As Gaucho100K mentioned the Apertura 2009 schedule has been surrounded by uncertainty because of financial issues affecting some of the teams. But it appears that the the season will start off as expected this coming weekend.
