OUCH ! This is sad news indeed if true.

What is the buzz on the street in BA about this situation ?

That is a shame one of the best footballing nations in the world! But it does not surprise me after spending some time in BA.

I would imagine things could get volatile if the locals don't get some games to go see.

They have postponed the start of the tournament.... but I think this will somehow be resolved over the next few days.

It'll be no hardship for me if they do - from what I've seen the quality of football has been dreadful. I wouldn't pay to see it.

The suspension wont stick... there is just too much dough at risk. It will be resolved sooner or later.

Hiddy.... you dont have 'codificado'...?

Well it's not really a porn channel - Cinecanal? or something has such stuff on at the weekend.........I accidentally found it one evening whilst channel hopping - of course I changed it straight away after I realised what it was. Can't be doing with all that excessive grunting noise....as bad as tennis players they were.

OK... so back to Soccer...

Seems like the Season will start... on August 21st. There are some issues with the TV coverage but regardless of what happens with TV and PPV of the big matches, the season apparently will begin.

I dont know if the schedule has been modified... I though I read that the games were supposed to being before 8/21 but I have to double-check. I will report back...
