Hanging out around EZE- advice

I am arriving into BA from Iguaza(AEP) around 16:00 and leaving BA (EZE) at 0300 the next morning. That would leave me about 9 hours to hang out and rest before my flight. I would hate to have to drag my luggage around BA for 9 hours. Does anyone have any advice- are there hotels close to EZE or perhaps a place that charges hourly rates? I'm also scared to travel to the airport in the middle of the night. Should I just hang out at EZE till my flight? TIA

There are no hotels close to EZE. Not sure how much luggage you have but at the Retiro bus station they do have lockers for luggage, that might be one solution. This is a link to their web site http://www.tebasa.com.ar/

Seems you would have plenty of time to drop your luggage, have a nice vino tinto, a great dinner grab your bags and a taxi or remise and head for EZE at midnight.

Or you could leave you bags at the left luggage facility at AEP, buy your ticket for a private car transfer from Manuel Tienda Leon, and head to the city to walk around and grab dinner, etc.

After you are done, you take a taxi back to AEP collect you bags and take your transfer to EZE... that would be my suggestion.

I dont think you will find a decent hotel that charges by the hour, if you know what I mean.
you have to decide what you want.
I like Gaucho's idea. Leave baggage at Aeroparque, get a remise (reserved and safe car service) to take you to the city, have dinner, wine, see a Tango show, hang out and at 11-11:30 head back AEP pick up your stuff and have the remise take you to EZE. At that time of the night, it is 10 minutes to Aeroparque and then 1/2 hour to EZE.
EZE at night is busy, many flights coming and going but nothing to do.
Your other option is to check in a hotel, go out for dinner, come back, shower, rest and then ask the hotel to call a remise to take you to EZE.
There are a few lounges in EZE. not sure if you are flying premium cabin or if you have lounge access.

If you haven't been to Buenos Aires before, you have to go into town have some awesome steak and wine. Sleep on the plane. :)

TIA-- if youre not the carnivore type, tell us what you enjoy and I will give you some suggestions on where you can get a bite to eat.

The idea of leaving the luggage at AEP seems to make plenty of sense. It's definitely close enough to the city that it won't be expensive to take a extra cab back there to get your luggage. I would just check the time that the facility is open until. I know that EZE operates at all kinds of crazy hours of the night, but I personally don't know if AEP is open as late. With that much time though, you definitely should enjoy the city.

Thanks everyone- I definitely have a number of options to choose from.
