Have fun in Argentina. I would like to be more of a full time resident however work and family limits me to 2-3 week visits, 4-5 times a year. which just adds up to high travel costs.

Yes, best of both worlds we are based 100 miles from BA where we also have a small apartment which is currently let out to a student but we can manage day visits to the city very easily.
I love the city but not sure if I could live there permanently especially in summer.
