Today, EZE had horrible immigration lines and AEP had 90+ delays and a handful of cancellations, on a pleasant weather day in the Capital.
In my case, the line was pretty short mid December on my morning arrival. |

To departure or arrival? because for International Departures you can book the Fast Pass which is usually shorter line for Security/Immigration for 30k AR$, which is like $22 dollars.

In mid January 2027, I'm planning to return to Buenos Aires from a trip to Mendoza. Flying MDZ to AEP on a weekday, arriving at AEP on Aerolineas Argentina about 6pm then going on to EZE for a flight around midnight on Delta. I haven't booked anything but this gives me about maybe 1 hour or more to get from AEP to EZE then 5 hours before my flight at EZE. Is this pretty reasonable? There is a later Aerolineas flight that cuts the time down to maybe 3 hours but I think that's too risky since we have to go across town. Any thoughts about this?
Is it easy to get either an Uber or Taxi or arrange a private driver to go from one airport to the other? |
Yes, you should be fine unless you encounter some serious IRROPS. Taxis and transportation are readily available....

At home taxis don’t want to go the 20 minutes from my house to the airport. |
Uber is ubiquitous and very affordable, we were just there last week and used it probably a dozen times in Argentina, including from AEP and to EZE
|
Yes you certainly can use Uber. I can also help you with arranging transportation. If you want we can take this to PM and go into further detail.
Cheers !!

Thanks. I believe I’ve used Uber in Argentina. Is that still commonly used? There is no trouble getting a taxi driver to run to the other terminal (because they’ll get another fare)?

Does anyone have experience with "Buenos Aires Airport Meet & Assist" to skip customs and immigration lines ?
https://www.buenosairesairportvip.co...t-track-lounge I did not dig into the link you provide but my guess is that they will probably charge a few hundred dollars. You get a personalized escort through customs and immigration so no lines (they take you through the Diplomatic Lane), and you should also be allowed access to a special high-end lounge where you can eat/drink while someone goes to fetch your checked bags, and they then either escort you to your transportation or to your connecting flight. |
