Schedule change resulting in connecting airport change
I had booked a flight from SCL (Santiago) through AEP (Buenos Aires) to USH (Ushuaia). Originally, I arrived and departed from the same airport, AEP. I just noticed that the connecting flight on this day (but oddly not other days around it) has changed to depart EZE, though I still arrive at AEP. I never received a notification of this change, oddly, but saw it when I received notification of a slight departure time change on my return itinerary that still fully connects through AEP.
I have two options:
Change to an earlier connecting flight (around 1pm) that departs AEP, too, but the connection time is just shy of 90 minutes. I assume I'll have to clear immigration and customs at AEP and that 90 minutes will be very tight. The next flight from there departs at 3am the next morning so I'll have like 14 hours to burn if that's the case.
OR
Transfer to EZE for a flight that is exactly 4 hours after I land. Still have to do immigration/customs, plus a transfer (1hr?) midday on a Monday. Re-checkin, check luggage, etc.
Does anyone have an opinion based on experience at these airports on which option would be better?

I assume this is all on AR on one ticket. Is the 90 minutes a legal published connection @ AEP? If so, I'd probably take it. I've only arrived int'l @ AEP a couple of times, but I don't think it ever took an hour before I was landside with my luggage. As for going to EZE, 4 hours should be fine. I expect you'd arrive at least 2 hours before departure mid-day, and although I've never been to the domestic departures area, I would expect the security line to be very short.

Just make sure you don't check bags. In my experience of flying into AEP over the years, that's the weak point - it has always taken a miserably long time to retrieve bags.

Just call AR Miami office, I called 10 days ago and they answered in less than 2 minutes, they will require to send an email with your information to make the change, which I got it fixed in less than an hour.
