AA is the only airline, apart from AR, to use its own staff for check-in and ground handling at Ezeiza. That means that they are usually exempted from strikes, as they donít rely on Intercargo.

The only domestic flights throughout strike day were Flybondiís for the same reason Ė they donít outsource ground operations at all.

Well we got through it. Was quite a mess, but left mostly on time. It seems the customs/security people were not well prepared.

Suffice to say AA could have handled it way better. As business pax we had to wait in about 3 hours of lines until we finally got in the terminal. We got in the terminal at approximately 8:30 after finishing checking in around 5:30. There were lots of AA FFers quite upset about the situation.

Yes... AA does do a poor job about ground assistance to its Premium Cabin Passengers. A number of my clients are serious AA flyers and have told me about similar experiences, seems like you are on your own at EZE even if you are ticketed in F.
