Would prefer to do Delta but travel agent is advising American to give enough time. We're traveling business. Any advice appreciated.
Unless there's a strike or other labor issue, I would be surprised if it takes more than 90 minutes for immigration and customs. That, of course, assumes an on time arrival. I'll be on the DL flight later this month and can report, but you may have already needed to book. That said, I've waited from minutes to an hour at all times of the day and night.

I arrived at EZE 3 weeks ago, plane touched ground 8:49am and there were 4 other planes that arrived in the last 40 minutes (UX Madrid, UA HOU, AA MIA and DL ATL). I was expecting a big long line at Immigration... so I decided to deplane last and get some pic from the airplane cabin (my companion wanted a pic from the Captain seat). We finally deplane at 9:10 and took 5 min to the Immigration, then a 20 min wait time (long line but not bad at all), then collect our bags and we were out by 9:45am.

I arrived last week on (03 Sep) from DFW. Off the plane and through immigration very quickly. However, it took over one hour for the bags to show up, which was very disappointing.
