EZE: How early to arrive for 5:58 AM departure?
Flying business class on United, Tuesday, Dec. 6th.
Planning on staying night before at Posada de las Aguilas to minimize travel time that morning. ( 2 miles)

Flight: AV964
Operated By Avianca Costa Rica for Avianca Peru
I just want to know how busy the airport will be at that time so should I be there 2 , 2 1/2, 3 hours early?

I would expect that 2 hours will be plenty.

It matters because some airlines have longer check-in lines, have earlier/later opening hours before first flight out, etc. We (I am assuming the greater "we") were concerned that you didn't have a booking error and actually knew the airline you were flying on, etc.
I would expect that 2 hours will be plenty.

I have taken the Avianca flight a couple of times . 2 hours is fine.
Check is normally quite easy . Passport and security really depend on the day - sometimes there are long lines but the normal situation is 5/10 minutes at each one.
If i remember correctly there are couple of flights to Chile and Brazil at the same time

I will be flying into EZE in Nov, arriving on AA at 9:50 AM. We will be flying in on business, so hoping to deplane quickly. Carrying on so no checked baggage (I hope). Is there any chance we clear immigration and customs and catch an 11:30 AM flight out on Aerolineas Argentina to Mendoza. Would buying the AA2000 VIP daily pass help? It seems to be the last direct flight from EZE to Mendoza that day, and the alternative is going to AEP and taking a later flight, wasting most of the day when we have limited time in Argentina. Also, if we miss the Aerolineas flight, what is the likelihood they would rebook us on the next Aerolineas flight out of AEP at no cost.
Any insight/suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I've no idea how AR will treat you if you miss your flight.

If you are not on the same ticket, I wouldn't risk it. My experience missing domestic flights (both AR and 4M -- yes, I missed many flights over the years) goes from "too bad, there's nothing we can do, buy a new ticket" to "we'll put you on the next flight out of some other airport (AEP, e.g.), and getting there is at your own expense". You really depend on the check-in staff's goodwill.
EZE-provinces flights cater for connecting pax on AR/Skyteam flights. Is there any possibility of changing your AA flight to AR or DL? AR flights from JFK and MIA land at 5 a.m., and there is a flight from EZE to Mendoza at 6:40. DL lands at 8:50, which would allow you to reach your 11:30 departure with some ease.

The AA2000 VIP Service is supposed to be able to assist you in instances like a very short connection, and in theory they have the staff to be able to do exactly what you seem to need. Having said this, your situation is complicated as not only do you need for your incoming flight to be super on time (or perhaps even early by quite a bit), but it is also compounded by the fact that AA2000 is nothing like the Changi Special Services Unit. I know from experience that AA2000 VIP Service can vary greatly in the level of benefits/perks/service offered. IF you are on one ticket, then I would say you should contact AA2000 (in writing) and explain in great detail that you are looking into buying their day pass service but that your top priority is having a dedicated escort (with the proper credentials) from the moment you deplane and that you expect to get escorted through the Diplomatic/Crew line (or similar) and provided with any additional support/transportration so that you can make your connection.... if they provide a written response that makes you feel comfortable, then this may be a decent gamble for you to consider. It can be done, but you need to make sure to announce this well in advance and have them be expecting you - you will not be just another day pass purchase.
I have Wine Clients of mine that fly commercial into EZE and then have to transfer to a Private Charter that is waiting (because they are part of another group that arrives earlier) and they need to make insane connection times. Ive seen AA2000 perform flawlessly, but I have also seen them fail miserably... so you need to make sure you do your homework in advance.
Bottom line, if you are on one ticket and like to roll the dice, this may be a "bet" for you, but as noted above, make sure you have a "plan B" up your sleeve at there is a good chance that something(s) could go wrong.
