Only bad thing is that travel can only last for a week. For such a long flight it would be nice to have it stretched to 2 weeks. Anyway, not sure who else is based out of NYC that flies to EZE, but this is a great deal. The best price I have ever seen for this flight in the past was $800 each way before taxes and fees. |

I don't like winter anymore, last year I spent 5+ week in Bs As just visiting my family/friends and it was like 2 weeks on summer, the day is too short :(
Check Lan, they usually have some good fare for JFK-MIA, sometimes cheaper than MIA-EZE. I had 2 weeks off starting this Friday and I didn't buy a ticket for $845 (6/16 to 6/29) because is winter :( ( $935-10% off sale -10% off coupon). PS: don't you have AA or BA miles? JFk-EZE is 40k miles for RT ticket in spring break :) |

Sounds like Biz101 to me.... aka trying to recoup some of the losses.... ;) ^
If you have never been to BsAs this could be a quick, nonstop flight, and cheap way to do it.

Stretching those miles. |

Light around seven in the morning and getting dark just after six. Compared to a Scottish winter day that means four hours extra light here.....it's wonderful. ^ I prefer the capital in winter....not so keen being there on a hot summer day. |

If you have 100K BA you can get 5 R/T off-peak on AA metal ;) JFK-EZE 3/3/2012 EZE-JFK 3/20/2012 for 40K + 61.50 (taxes) or 20K + $255 (20K) + 61.50 (taxes)=20K+316.50 ^ ;) 100K BA miles = 5 R/T (off-peak) for a total of $1,582.50 |

That is a great deal and I agree all AAdvantage members who got the 100K BA do is complain how sucky BA is. They seem pretty good to me! I can easily do all my travel off-peak to get the best out of those miles.
I tried using BA.com and going to Executive Club tab then Spending miles. Then I input all the data and search. This causes the red box that british does not fly this route and I click on the "include partners" tab and I still get no availablitly. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help. |
No availability means no availability. :p
BA only have access to AA MileSaver award seats. If you see them on the AA site then BA will be able to book them. |
The above is yet more proof to what Ive been saying for a long time now... the FF game is nothing like it used to be. Mileage inflation and the big hidden enemy (capacity controls and award seat inventory management) make this like a Casino for the frequent flyer..... the House (aka the Airlines) always win.
