I'm considering booking Oceanwide Expeditions' "Atlantic Odyssey" trip. It would be 32 nights, Ushuaia-South Georgia-Tristan da Cunha-Ascension-Cape Verde. (The RAF flight off Ascension is fully booked, so I'd have to continue to Cape Verde).

Has anyone done something like this and was it worthwhile? What type of people do these trips, is it mainly retirees?
I'm a bit worried about getting bored or going "ship crazy;" I've never done a boat trip for more than 24 hours. I'm also not a bird watcher, I'm not sure what else there is to do on board.
Has anyone done a trip like this and was it worthwhile?
I'm going to mull this over for a few weeks, I think. It's a big expense. I imagine I could get a 5% discount pretty easily by booking directly, not sure if they will discount it more than that.

Have discussions with other passengers, have fights with other passengers, have sex, read books, sleep a lot, solitary (cards, not sex), sudoku, watch movies, write a novel...
