Award tickets after collapse

Got a question for former Ansett FFs. Did you -- or anyone you know -- have an award ticket issued before Ansett's collapse, that was ticketed/booked for travel on a flight on another Star carrier (but scheduled for travel after the collapse)? Did the Star carrier give you any problems using your ticket? Were you able to change dates as well? Am wondering if I'm safe if I redeem US Air points for travel, say, on LH in early 2005. If USAirways doesn't make it to the end of the year, will LH (or some other Star) carrier still honor the ticket (which would be issued on USAir ticket stock).

I'll now answer my own question. after googling, I found out that, yes, AN-issued award tickets for travel on other airlines were indeed honored OK.
