AN-III's A320 Config

Interestingly, AN-III's new 320's are claimed to seat 138, or 12/126 (In today's Herald-Sun) - same config as UA - that is UA with Y+ seating. Could AN-III be going that way, or perhaps (sensibly) offering a MRTC type cabin with perhap 33" pitch in all rows of Y, maybe more up front.

AN's current 320's seat 144.

Await to see with interest.

Remember,

Fox Lew originally set out to have a so called 3 class carrier, and I deduced that E+ was the '3rd class'.

With the Herald Sun config, you've got 3 rows of 2-2 (6C) and 21 rows of 3-3 (126Y). One fewer a row than the current config, so an E+ is quite conceivable.

Remember, removing a row secures an extra 32" of pitch. You can do a lot with that http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I would be inclined to say that we might see the first real Business Class in a narrowbody downunder - excluding NZ's 733s.

Cheers,

Justin
