Question on points transfer
 

The guest rewards website says:

"Members may redeem a maximum of 25,000 Amtrak Guest Rewards points per year to any other program currency; 50,000 point limit for Select members"

Does that mean 25,000 in total, or per other program currency? For example, if I have already transferred 25,000 points to Continental, can I still transfer 25,000 points to Midwest, Hilton, etc.? Or do I have to wait until next year to transfer any more points. It's not very clear.

I always assumed it was 25K/50K max total and never thought about it since I only transfer to one other programme, but I see your point about how vague the wording really is. I would just call up and get the quick answer.
