I do every other week BOS<>NYP<>BOS and same here... never had an unexpected seat changes since the implementation.

However two times in the last year the train has been "backwards," i.e. sent from BOS with F in the rear instead of the front, and the crews did not have the time to reverse the single seats, so the usual forward-facing ones were rear-facing. Not a biggie!
