Best way to get 25 TQP
 

I have two train trips booked between now and end of year and if I calculated everything right, I will be 25 points short of Select Plus at the end of the year. What is the best way to get 25 extra points? Extend the travel by one station, pay for an upgrade or is there anything else like an onboard purchase etc that can easily net me 25 points?
My home station is Wilmington, DE.

I'd go one more station. I'm not sure onboard purchases get you TQP's.

TQPs are generated by Amtrak ticket spend. So, an additional 12.5 dollars in Amtrak ticket spend would get you to 25 TQP. If adding another station gets your ticket over 12.5 dollars or that can be accomplished via an upgrade, or even taking another train, that'll do it.

Onboard purchases wont count. TQPs can be earned via spend on Amtrak tickets or via the Amtrak credit card.

Select Plus can be a very beneficial benefit if you can find value in the United Club access, so its definitely worth going out of your way to achieve
