Zephyr Delays & Cancellation
 
I noticed long delays for the Zephyr and cancellation today of #6 . Does anyone know what is causing these delays and if it is a long term issue? There is no information on the Amtrak site.

I think this may be due to a forest fire near Grand Jct, Col.

We were delayed about 6 hours arriving in Denver on 5 (westbound) on 9/2, but that was weather from what I heard. I didn’t notice any track construction delays between Denver and Chicago.
