Acela Express (Amtrak Train 2150 on Feb 6, 2018) uncoupled/separated while in motion
There is a report on another forum that today's (February 6, 2018) Train 2150, an Acela Express, uncoupled/separated between the first and second passenger cars. The report says the train was in motion when the separation occurred and that there were no injuries since no people were in the passage between cars when the separation occurred.
Amtrak.com currently lists train 2150 as being 1 hour, 37 minutes late. |

A blog said it was between the First Class and Quiet cars. Luckily, there's hardly ever anyone walking between those while it's in motion.
