Mid-day Monday Acelsa NYP-BOS

How crowded are the mid-day Acela trains from New York to Boston? this would be Monday on the 1:03 departure. How crowded does that train usually get?

Most Acelas are fairly full. They are timed for that, e.g. fewer mid-day trains. But, it is a reserved service and absent a massive glitch, you will have a seat.

I don't know whether Amtrak oversells, but I have never seen an Acela with standing room.

outside of holidays I don't see a difference in capacity in Acela trains for NYC.

Midday Acelas tend to be substantially less crowded than morning and afternoon/evening.
