Not possible to redeem AGR points using Amtrak app or mobile website?
 
I'm not sure if I've ever tried to do this before, but I'm trying it now and not seeing any way to redeem AGR points using either the app or the mobile website that I'm forced into when using the iPhone. Am I missing something, or is it really not possible?

It's not possible. You can only redeem AGR points using the desktop Web site or by calling in.

Well that is a pisser. It's kind of incredible, even this long after the Amtrak/AGR merger, and having an app that really works quite well in all other respects.

One can't book American Airlines flights in their (Android) app, either.

One can switch to the full site using a link at the bottom of the mobile site. Also helpful for booking special fares (AAA and student).
