I used it successfully about two weeks ago, and was sent a confirmation email within hours. My credit card was also charged within a few days.

Do you suppose I could/should call skyguide to inquire? I don't want to alert their attention to an expired link if it is working for others, however.

Update - I used the link again, and got to the confirmation page again 3 days ago (the date of this post). Still no charge or hold on my card, still no e-mail.

if they can't find you they'll offer to sign you up over the phone, which you can politely decline, and either try again or a different link.

Interestingly, they mis-spelled my last name on the membership, so there is some sort of manual process that happens through the $19.99 link.

Asked in DL forum with no response... figure I'd get your take. :-)
Have a series of domestic flights coming up which will necessitate me using the Sky Club. Being ATL based, every flight that I take is direct or international (free club access STE+) so I don't have a full SC membership. I was originally going to get a 30-day Sky Club pass but see an offer for a year of SkyGuide for $19.95. (honestly would only need the trial)
I'd only buy three day passes and have 9 left to use for the remainder of a year should I need one... I'm contemplating doing this as it seems to be a better deal. The only downside would be inability to access partner lounges during my flights (e.g. Oasis in JFK) - though couldn't I just buy a day pass for that lounge if I really wanted to go there?
I'm leaning towards the SkyGuide but figured I'd ask here to see if there are any advantages to 30-day SC.
Also, won't be guesting anyone...

I got my membership number and want to use these for 2 trips this week for DL SkyClubs. I have the DL Plat Amex which gets me in for $25 at the club, but I'm trying to generate as much spend on the card as possible ... DL site says to put down the "preferred date of use" and while I'd prefer to use them this week, in case I SDC or get to the airport late, I wouldn't be able to use them. How do these day passes work in terms of expiry?
Edit: Whoops, didn't realize this was the AmEx forum, not DL forum. But I'm planning on sending the reimbursement forms to SkyGuide so ... yeah.

Pass may be used on an alternative date than what is selected and printed on the pass, on, or before the expiration date of the pass.
As to how to pay the full amount, if you buy from here: https://www.delta.com/crownrooms/oneVisitLanding.action does it realize you are using the DL Amex Plat and give you a different price on the confirmation page?

I got the membership packet today. I bought it from that $19.99 deal for the first year a month or so ago.
It says on the paper that the membership card was attached to that they will continuously renew my membership each year at the then-current rate (currently $29.95). And I can cancel and get back any money for unused months.
I'm going on my trip on Wednesday and will try out the lounge deal. See how that goes. If it's a hassle I may cancel.
It says to mail in the receipts with the form by certified mail. Both my husband and I are going to use two each way all-day lounge passes. We will both get separate receipts. Do you have to send them in separate envelopes, or can you put the two separate items in the same envelope? Sounds ridiculous that you can't mail them together, so what's the story? Or should you mail them on different days?
I hate the idea that they are trying to weasle out of refunding you. I think this is a chronic problem with American companies these days; they offer these deals, points, etc. and then try and cheat their customers out of what they are honestly due.
I have a home repair insurance, and every time I try and make a claim they find some loophole so they don't have to pay for it... Why bother then?

If you look here and on other forums people have success not using certified mail and including more than one receipt per envelope, but ymmv. I don't know of anyone mixing memberships in one envelope. Regardless of what you do, keep copies and follow up.
For what it's worth they probably couldn't deny you reimbursement because you didn't use certified mail (if you took the trouble to take them to court), but certified mail provides proof of delivery.

Just checked my AMEX account and the pending charges show it as "Delta Air Lines" so it should earn 2x miles ^. Extra 50 miles + extra $25 per pass to meet spending + consolidation to one reimbursement.
No receipt in my email though ... only receipt that I got is the actual Day Pass, so I guess I'll have to print out twice, one for DL, one for Skyguide.

You can use it before the indicated date. I wonder if the expiration date is calculated from today or from the date you bought it with. If you buy one further in advance it's worth paying attention to. If it's the later, this makes an easy way extend the 1 year expiration date.
