I got the offer by snail mail for my PRG yesterday, 10k MR points for Extended Pay Option.
Also got an email for spend $10K get a bonus 10k Starpoints on my Business SPG yesterday. Yesterday was a good day! |
I've been targeted (yet again) but still haven't pulled the trigger for some reason. And I pay off each month.

Closed 2 card accounts with the "enroll in pay over time" option but no bonus points. Tried the link from a blogger and tried calling with the offer code and nobody could get anything to work. I never get these offers.

Called Amex about something else and the rep mentioned a 10k offer and read off a bunch of stuff. I was in a "why the hell not" mood so I agreed to add it - she read off a bunch of other stuff about APRs and how it works and whatever, asked me to verbally confirm, and that was that.
Points arrived in my account less than 48 hrs later. |
Got the 10K mailer offer. Applied and got the points almost immediately.
Takes 10% of the sting away from being shafted on the 100K offer... |
Is the Pay Over Time feature tied to a specific card or all of the member's accounts. That is, if you have multiple charge cards, does signing up cover your personal Gold and Platinum, or just the card the offer is on? Thanks

I got a mailer for 10k points for enrolling today after I spend $100 and move it into my Pay Over Time balance.
However, I'm already enrolled in pay over time. For 10k points I'll call and ask. |
