I got mine today... about a 50.00 + book... very nice but I would rather have my double points for everyday spending back... and they can keep their wine book.

I received the wine book with a personal plat. First year I have had the card.

I have a personal plat.. and have been for 2 or 3 years. It shows up in a plat colored box that is very heavy. The book is a good 6 pounds or so.

Anyone who did not receive one have any luck calling and asking the CSR about it? Just curious if AMEX takes any action if someone calls with this type of complaint.

I have the plat for 7 yr and with AE >12 year. I guess it is an East Coast thing?:(
