OnePass Promo Code for redeeming Amex Points?
 

I am going to redeem my points for OnePass miles, but before I do, is anyone aware of any special offer codes that Amex might with Continental right now?

The last time I redeemed points for miles, there was a four digit code that I gave to Amex (it was like K204 or something like that) where it gave a 20% bonus on all points redeemed for OnePass miles for over 20k mile and it went up to 25% bonus for redeeming over 30k.

Does any one know if there is any type of redemption code like that right now? Just thought I would check before I redeemed all of my points.

Unfortunately, no. There was a thread in the CO forum not too long ago, and COInsider told us there wouldn't be a promo in the near future.

Too bad since that has "forced" me to transfer AmEx points to DL instead and only transfer to CO when I can't get what I want through DL.

Thanks for the info. At least I will have peace of mind when I redeem my points. That would blow if I redeemed my points and there was a promo code out there.

Is that because there is such a code on Delta?

Any word yet on a future promo? Last word was back in February.

There was a bonus code on DL last year but I haven't seen one since. Delta seems a bit more flexible in their freq flyer tickets, allowing stops whereas CO doesn't allow stops on domestic flights anyway but DL does. OTOH, CO might sometimes has better availability on partners. It is a tradeoff.
