Processing the application?
 

I just faxed my application for th AMEX Centurion UK. How long does it usually take to process the application ?

May be longer if you're bank drags their heels - AmEx will ask them for a reference.

I just received my UK Centurion (International Dollar Card) a few weeks ago. I was shocked by how fast it was processed. I faxed my application on a Friday (plus sent it the same day by postal mail) and had my supplementary cards (husband's Centurion plus an extra Platinum) in the mail already the following Saturday, 8 days later. I'm in Denmark. My main black cards (personal + business) arrived the following Monday, taking a little more time because they came in a larger package with the Centurion benefits book.

I cannot believe they verified any bank information because the bank I listed was a U.S. bank. They barely had time to press the cards and post them, they came so fast.
