Amex Bonvoy Bevy now on Amex website (in US)

seeing it show up on amex US website

not seeing chase bountiful yet

Brilliant updated too

Looks like they updated the brilliant on their website too. Added platinum status etc. Added choice benefit after $60k. Eligibility for the SOB is still convoluted and pretty steep.

in line with "rumors" and surveys

unfortunately SUB not amazing so not sure what that suggests for chase bountiful

also earning bonus categories just seem kind of odd but maybe somehow it relates to partnership with 3rd party in this case marriott

i see there were 2 posts re updated brilliant in the brilliant thread

“Free” annual night for $15k spend for Bountiful/Bevy doesn’t make it an attractive upgrade option for me (Bountiful card holder). And if I didn’t have a Marriott card yet, I would probably find the Bountiful card for $95 the better choice unless I was expecting a lot of one-night-stands at Marriotts to capitalize on the 1K bonus.

currently can have >
2 amex - bevy + brilliant (get brilliant first)
or
2 chase - boundless + bountiful
previously could not have 2 chase, but seems only because bold is free

interesting that upgrade offers for amex marriott seem less common, but maybe because i spend almost nothing on my grandfathered amex marriott

also noticed this, very strange >

You think it's strange that a story used the word "bevy"?

based on posts here re brilliant, sounds like website updated around midnight, yet press release / coverage was say mid morning

maybe the credit card referrer blogs were told to wait until certain time

and chase did not update website as early as amex did, maybe update was simultaneous with press release

mia Sep 24, 22 12:51 pm

Bevy is a common English word, not a term invented by American Express or Marriott.

date and amex, not the word bevy

if there are other such coincidences, i would find them strange, and i have never seen anything similar before

You'll have to explain why you think it is remarkable.
