I'm a US AMEX Plat flyer and am also flying in Delta One out of JFK to MAD (on DL). I'm wondering if I have access to the JFK VS Club House. When I look at the VS website, it says that Delta One passengers can access the lounge. What's interesting is that there's an asterisk that also notes when certain tier members need to be flying on VS (such as DL Diamond passengers in Y).
So, in my case, I'm wondering if I'm "doubly" protected in terms of accessing the VS lounge later today based on my situation. I really could use some advice/insight here. Thanks!

Regarding JFK Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse hours:
Amex Platinum Lounge Access page (app and website) both say that JFK Clubhouse is open from 5am to 11am.
Plaza Premium site says it's open in the mornings at least until 11am plus other afternoon and evening hours depending on the day.
These sites are both wrong. On my visit at 10am the JFK Clubhouse was closed. The sign posted outside says it's open 05:00 to 08:30 and 14:00 to 22:30 Daily, which is consistent with what the VA Clubhouse site says.
If you have a visit to Clubhouse planned, I'd suggest you to confirm the opening hours on the VA Clubhouse website.

Flew through IAD a few days ago and had a chance to check out the VS Clubhouse at IAD.
Showed up at ~820pm with the VS flight departure listed at 925. Apparently they start boarding the VS flight very early because I was informed the lounge was closing in 10-15 minutes and the kitchen was closed.
However I was able to place an order off the digital menu and they happily delivered it to me. They did start clearing people out though by 845 in earnest. Shame because next stop was the TK Lounge (which was a big step down) but would definitely return if it was during an open window

Has anyone had recent experience of trying to access the JFK Virgin Clubhouse during evening hours? The AMEX website still shows morning hours only so I am not sure if evening hours are supposed to be included or if successful access is just down to ignorance of some receptionists.
