American Express now offering Calm Premium for 1 year

"Starting May 18, all American Express U.S. personal card members can get a complimentary 1-year premium membership to Calm, a sleep and meditation app. The premium membership normally costs $69.99 per year. After the first year is over, card members can get a second year at 50% off with an automatic renewal."

I just signed up & then turned off auto-renew... I don't know how much others value this, but still nice considering it is separate from the new monthly subscription credit.

I'm rating this at basically a zero value since it's not something I would otherwise use and not sure I'm really interested in using it.

Wow pleasant surprise, as I actively use calm to help with my anxiety.

Would have never bought this. But I’ll give it a try. I felt like I would never buy ShopRunner, but now am so grateful to Amex to have it.

I picked up a lifetime subscription to Calm last Black Friday, otherwise I'd consider this a pretty nice perk.
