    • Google Fi - posted as streaming for some (plat - "GOOGLE *GOOGLE FI G.CO/HELPPAY# CA", pay.google.com, additional information shows "GAMES"); no credit on green (additional information shows "Axxxxxxx SELLER"). Not clear if this was a temporary miscoding since it posted as Wireless for several after May 22. UPDATE: GOOGLE FI still sometimes posts as streaming credit. Worked for me on September 14th 2020. Had already used the $20 wireless credit and paid another $20 go Google FI and it was refunded as streaming credit. My experience is that it works 50% of the time.

In pending transaction post status my wireless shows as ATT U verse. Will see what it posts finally tomorrow. When I was using my Citi DC it wouldn’t even post as wireless.
My prepaid TMobile posted as "Vesta TMobile" Hope it's credited.

It should since MP3s are credited. The videos/movies are streaming too.

Yes. 100% certain that movies and TV shows work, since I purchased 4 movies on May 2nd and already saw the credit post on May 4.

I purchased them. My original post was #146 . 4 $5 movies for $20 + tax, but another poster provided a data point that Amazon rentals also work. Hope this helps.

Someone also posted that renting movies through the Youtube website also triggered the credit.

I think this is meant to be a retention tool and something they are hoping to give their customer service representatives as a chip to avoid cancellations without having to pay other very high retention bonuses. Making you use Amex Travel probably shaves a few bucks off the actual cost for Amex and likely ensures breakage but gives them the ability to say that with other credits they are negating the annual fee.

It’s disappointing for those who already renewed this year but I think understanding it more as a retention tool than goodwill explains why they are doing it this way.

I purchased a $25.00 Verizon Gift Card online yesterday. The pending charge shows VERIZON as merchant. Nothing yet on the credit. I will update. I also want to see if paying by gift card invalidates the autopay discount. If it does not, then I will pay with gift cards in the future in order to get points for my monthly bill.

Still intrigued to know if Amazon prime triggers it, as opposed to amazon movies or music.

I don’t think the $50 Delta Platinum credit had been reported before. That will still likely be a cancel candidate for me
I got $50 on Delta Amex Platinum and $75 on Delta Amex Platinum Business. I also got a similar email for my Platinum card but it did not mention the $200 Amex Travel credit so I guess I didn't get that one?

For the discussion about the Amex Gold card upthread, worth a reminder that the monthly $10 "dining" credit on that card is also valid at Boxed.com, which is a sort of online Costco, which may be more useful for a lot of people right now than the usual restaurant partners. I've used both my April and May fee credits at Boxed.

I got the Amex plat email this morning. It only mentioned the wireless and streaming credits but not the $200 travel credit. Mine renews in November. When I called about a different issue and I decided to ask about the $200 travel credit, CSR said she knows about credit and could see that my account was not targeted.

Well, why don't you be the data point you seek and simply try it?

I don't think it has been officially announced yet. I would wait a little.

You can make additional payment on Verizon website but looks like it just goes to the same OneBill payment. I will call Verizon and see if I can make a manual payment of $20 just against the Wireless portion.
Yep, that's what I did. Manual $20 payment to AT&T. The charge posted but no credit yet.

My platinium renews next month. I already used all my travel credit for this year. I'm assuming the $200 credit is for the upcoming year.
