Talking An idea for using the $15 Uber credit if you're paranoid during this time

So I have a monthly use it or lose it $15 Uber credit through my AMEX Platinum credit card, but I'm a bit paranoid to take an Uber or even get food delivery during this time, yet I wanted to still support a driver and not just lose the free credit.

So I just ordered some cans of soda using UberEats from a nearby restaurant. I figured you can wash the soda cans before opening. The credit was able to cover the soda and all fees, plus tip.

Of course, I would never normally pay this amount for soda but this is not bad considering I was just going to let the credit lapse anyways.

BTW, UberEats now has a 'leave it by the door' contactless option.

A Little Star deep dish pizza plus a few extra bucks was a much better use of my Amex credit!*

(*Better for me. No judgment! )

I might use this for my April credit. Was able to still use the March credit for a last business trip 3/2 before things shut down.

Or the soda?

Granted this should kill the microwave as well. A foil packet was once a colorful experiment.... not sure what happened to the microwave later on

This is a good reminder- might need to check out eats for April after all

Eating the food should be enough to kill the virus in your stomach. That's not how one gets infected. Just don't inhale your salad.
