No more wooden holder with AMEX Plat?
 
Just got my Charles Schwab AMEX Plat card in the mail today and it didn't have the wood phone holder thing.
Did AMEX cheap out and stop sending these?

Didn't rec one for my vanilla plat last year either.

I didn't get one in 2017, i guess it was a short lived experiment.

I got one in 2018ish, threw it away though. Didn't know anyone actually cared about them.

I received one in July 2019 - regular AMEX Plat.

I don’t think they’ve ever been very consistent about it. I didn’t get one with my Schwab Plat in 2016 and the wood stand was quite buzzy then.

I got one for my Vanilla Plat in 2018
Got another one for my CS Plat in June 2019
And didn't receive one with my MS Plat last week.

to me they cheaped out when the started sending those. they looked like something i would have made in first year of wood shop and i was terrible in wood shop! if i had received one of those it would have gone straight into the kindling wood pile.

I never got one, I've had the Plat card since 2013.
