Can I transfer existing credit on an amex card to another amex card to pay off balanc
I recently had a amex card where the annual fee was refunded and the account got a credit. Can I transfer that credit to my other amex cards to pay off those balances? Any negative repercussions ?

You also can ask amex to issue you a cheque to the value of the credit. (They will do this automatically after a few months).

And it’s considered as a cash payment so you don’t lose out on whatever points your card is accumulating. ^
