I don’t know if Kindle purchases (1-click, right?) post any differently than regular Amazon 1-click purchases, but you could presumably just load money into your gift card balance and use that.

Just got this
Amazon: Get +5 Membership Rewards points per eligible dollar spent. Up to 2,500 points. Expires 12/26/2021
It's on my business green, which I have never used for Amazon purchases before. Says valid for Amazon.com and the app. Usual terms, like no gift cards and not third-party & international amazon sites. Not valid for Amazon Go, Amazon Local, Amazon Mechanical Turk, Amazon Web Services, Amazon Home & Business Services, Amazon Currency Converter, Home Services, Prime Photos, Amazon Inspire, Amazon Video Direct, Amazon business, Amazon Global, or Amazon Drive.

Bad timing, my annual Prime membership just renewed last month - would have given 595 bonus points.

Yeah, in the past these Amex Offers have worked fine with gift card balance reloads. Just loaded a couple of bucks to start working on my 30 trx for EDP 1.5x, so will let you know if I get 6X on that.

This one came up for me as new today:

Get a one-time $5 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $15 in one or more purchases online at Ebay by 12/31/2021. Orders must originate from, and ship to, a U.S. location.

I also got that on my plain Vanilla platinum - not on my CS platinum, which seems to get no offers of use.

Amex is really becoming Walmart's partner - also got an offer of $25.00 off a $45.00 membership fee at Sam's Club - new memberships only - however, we are a Costco family. Never been to a Sam's Club, assuming it is very much like Costco.

I'm a member of neither, but those clubs are supposed to be quite similar.

Need some help as this is the first time Amex is failing me. There was an Air France offer spend $1,000 online and get $200 back that ended Sept 30. I purchased tickets online, received the congrats email and an email stating that my large purchase at AIR FRANCE USA INTERNET was approved.

After opening a dispute case and various excuses why the charge does not qualify, Amex is stating that the charge does not qualify because tickets were not purchased online. Any advise?

Write to the CEO/executive offices and include your email confirming the online purchase. The front line “customer service” workers at Amex are just useless. hopefully you also have a chat protocol screenshot where they claim it wasn’t an online purchase.

Thanks, I give it a try. Yes, I have a screenshot of the chat.

EBAY: $5/$15+ exp. 12/31
Shipping must be from and to the US (the first such condition I've come across on AmEx Offers).

There's also a familiar Holiday Season offer from Adorama: $25/$250, exp. 12/31 (it's a photography and electronics store).

You've gotten through to someone at Uber? I had to file a complaint with my Attorney General.
