Kudos to AmEx, Iberia Not So Much

Had a situation where I logged into iberia.com, went through all the steps of purchasing two tickets, including supplying billing information (AmEx card), then got the dreaded (and too frequent) message: “Ha ocurrido un error. Por favor, inténtalo más tarde.”
Logged out, went to another browser, logged into iberia.com and this time I was able to buy the tickets.
But, Iberia charged my AmEx card for four tickets, rather than two. “Ha ocurrido un error” is right! Theirs!
I had 19 charges from Iberia in that billing period, so I initially missed the double billing.
But when I took the matter up with AmEx today, they resolved it within hours.
Now, I would like to think that this was due to my crystal-clear explanation in concise, precise prose. But more likely, I fear, is that AmEx has run into this on other occasions with Iberia, and knows exactly what it takes to resolve the situation, and can do so rapidly.
In any case, excellent service from AmEx!
