Hilton Ascend Now Back To Surpass ?
 
Has anyone noticed the Ascend Card is being called the Surpass again ?

The ascend I hold is called Surpass on the AMEX website and when I searched for an Ascend card it brings up an page to apply for a Surpass.

Maybe this is old news as I don't use the Ascend card often and was only looking because I might take advantage of the 12 month free financing they are offering

Per recent email:
As of July 18, 2019, your Hilton Honors American Express Ascend Card will be called the Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card.

Not that the name change makes any difference but I'm glad it's back to the original surpass name. My terrible memory made it hard for me to remember if I had an aspire or ascend.

The way I remembered it is “if I Aspire to be a Hilton Diamond member, all I need to do is to tell them and they’ll give it to me” 😁

I wish the cards would have the names on them, I briefly held all three consumer Hilton Amex cards at the same time and could never tell which was which.
