Transferring from AMEX to Delta?
I went to my AMEX MR page and chose the "Transfer Points" option
The page does load - there is a circle keep rotating in the middle of the page.
Can we still transfer?
What is the ratio?
If the page doesn't work, what do I do?

Update:
Sorry - I might have searched it for SFO.

Are you searching for more than one seat at a time? If the airline has only one seat remaining at 22,000 they will not show that price is you search for 2 or more.

I'm not super familiar with DL. However, with the current VS bonus maybe it's worthwhile to look into that. There isn't an federal excise tax on that transfer either (not that it's that much).

Anyway I reserved the fare at 22k for 3 people.
Now they tell me that either I travel or loose entirely unless I cancel within 24hrs. I used Costo
citi card to pay for it. The terms for Trip interruption/cancellation is
"To be eligible for coverage under this benefit, Your Citi ® Card and/or
AAdvantage ® miles must be used to purchase at least a portion of
the Trip. In the event of partial payment, We will only reimburse the
lesser of the actual amount paid for with Your Citi Card (including
AAdvantage ® miles) or the maximum coverage per Trip"
Will the AMEX points returned? if not should I get additional insurance?

VS is the code for Virgin Atlantic. Delta owns a large interest in the airline, and Flying Club miles can be redeemed for travel on flights operated by Delta. The number of miles required may be less, the same or more, it's a separate program.

As MIA noted, VS is the airline code for Virgin Atlantic. Just like how DL is for Delta. As MIA mentioned, sometimes VS charges less for DL fights. Additionally, there isn't any fee to transfer as VS is an international program.
Looking at Tuesday June 11 2019.
Delta wants 120,000 miles for an economy flight from DTW-NRT. Meanwhile Virgin Atlantic will charge you just 40,000 miles for the same flight.
The icing on the cake is that currently there is a transfer bonus from AMEX to VS. Rather than 1000:1000 it's 1000:1300. Therefore, you'd only need to transfer ~31,000 AMEX points in this example.

I didn't read your message correctly
I would have got a direct flight on VS (SFO) than being on DL (SJC)
Direct flight would be the key difference - in terms of redemption, 22k on Delta vs 20k on VS (would have saved 3x2k)
$40 tax might have took me to SFO, which is farthest
I can cancel Delta but I can not reverse AMEX transaction.
I was a bit nervous as fares were changing quickly - I never used VS before
There is no transfer option for Skymiles to VS right?
Update:
Why VS only gives Miles option for SFO to DTW?
" No results were found for your search, please check your route. Try changing your cities, dates or any other search criteria. #101639R "
Means it would not have worked for me as I did not have enough miles!

The key here is redeeming VS miles for travel on DL. If you redeem VS miles for travel on VS, they pass along high carrier imposed surcharges. Unfortunately, you can't reserve the transfer or move DL miles to VS. If you see an error that no results are found then that means VS doesn't have anything available. VS only has access to a subset of DL award space (the old saver award). This is just another trick to keep ion your back pocket for next time.
Just that your original post confused me - I will keep VS next time but I ran out of MR points - AMEX seems to give just one for lifetime. I got those on the gold cards. Any newer cards with little annual fee?
