AmEx ICC bank partner in Malta?

Hi,

My Wife has been a cardholder of ICC for years by her bank BOV on Malta, but they have now canceled her card because BOV (our bank) have withdrawn their partnership.

I gave ICC a call a few days ago and asked how I could apply for one. The only thing she said was, you can, we do have a partnership in Malta, but I can't tell you what bank...

So guys, for someone who is a Maltese resident and have a good salary, how can we now get a card?

Good suggestion.

It appears HSBC Malta does not issue credit cards: https://www.hsbc.com.mt/

But HSBC Offshore does offer MasterCard -and- American Express cards:

I would find a UK address or one outside the EU and apply for ICC if I were you. BOV is horrible as are all the Maltese banks. Open an account in Switzerland or Latvia.
