New Account Bonus Spend Question
I am new to the AMEX Platinum. While trying to meet the $5000 spend in 3 months do reimbursable purchases ($200 travel credit, $100 Saks, and $200 Uber) count towards the $5000 or are they excluded? Thanks.

They generally count toward the minimum spend... until you become the guy who amex decides to make an example of.

The reimbursable credits (airline, Saks, Global Entry) count toward MSR. The Uber credit is not a reimbursable credit and doesn't count toward MSR.
