Business Platinum (USA) Dell benefit.

This new $100 semi-annual benefit is now open for enrollment. Now we'll just need to come up with ideas on how to use it. Anyone has any good ones to share?
Will there be a way to use it on Dell or 3d party gift cards?

Dell gift cards run through a 3rd Party, so not likely to trigger the benefit.

The only gift cards that appear for sale are Xbox. :/

For me, I plan to use the benefit before my renewal in December (and then cancel) on whatever I can find that's useful and at least a decent price. I expect the latter will be the biggest issue for me.

SO its funny... I find myself now looking at the Dell website at $99 Bose computer speakers I'd never ever buy, but figuring.... what the heck, why not?

An overpriced accessory is a great idea -- given that there's apparently no way to accumulate these benefits for a better (and higher) priced item.

Dell sells an annual Office 365 subscription for $99.99. Also, H&R Block tax software is under $100.

I use both of those two products and if I could get them both reimbursed annually it would offset the $145 increase.

Purchased on dell.com on 2/3, $100 credit posted on 2/6. Was able to combine with Amex offers of 10% off Dell purchases, so total savings for a new monitor was $132.

1. Has anyone had the Dell credit post yet and how long did it take after purchase? My AF is coming up but I wanted to pick up a computer monitor in the meantime.

Dell sells Printer's and Ink. Plenty of nice printers under $100 and ink refills at $30 for color $27 for black and white while not the cheapest, certainly could use that value. I easily spend $150 in Ink a year so for anyone in a similar position might be worth it to look at their printers...

Bought some waterproof Bluetooth speaker. Out of pocket cost after tax = $9

Wouldn't have bought them if it were not for the Dell $100 but nothing else there was interesting.....

Just a reminder that you need to enroll your card for the benefit.

Get up to $100 in statement credits between January and June and up to $100 in statement credits between July and December for U.S. purchases with Dell on your Business Platinum Card. That's up to $200 in statement credits annually. Enrollment required.

I went with the Dell Wireless 360 Speaker System - AE715. $109.24 - $100 = $9.24 net cost.

Using price matching can sometimes provide a decent price reduction. It can be requested via online chat, but it must approved and purchase completed by phone. Thus price matching will not be stackable with online CB portals or AmEx offers that are limited to online purchases.
