AMEX to Mileage Plus

Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer AMEX points to Mileage Plus. I know United is not a transfer partner but is there another way around to transfer?

What are you trying to accomplish?

If you are trying to book an UA flight, you can transfer MR points to UA partners such as AC or NH.

Were trying to fly from SYD back to the US in either in Business or First on December 12 or 13 but it seems United is one of the only ones with rewards available do so in the class we want.

Edit: Whoops! Thought you were talking about Alaska MileagePlan. Turns out it was UA. My mistake!

You could always transfer from Amex MR to Marriott, and then book a travel package. 320k Marriott would turn into 132k United miles and a 7 night hotel certificate.

If you are finding low-tier ("Saver") award seats on UA-operated flights, those same seats should be bookable with Aeroplan points, at Aeroplan's redemption rates, which might be higher, lower, or the same as United's.
